<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>The Pitch: Become 200% More Productive (Or 300% More Annoyed)</strong></h3>

<p>According to KEFEYA, this little gadget can increase your efficiency by <strong>up to 200%</strong>, which is fantastic, because nothing screams <em>scientific accuracy</em> like a made-up number with a percent sign stapled to it.</p>

<p>It’s supposedly perfect for <strong>remote workers</strong>, <strong>stock traders</strong>, <strong>game players</strong>, <strong>programmers</strong>, and probably astronauts too, assuming their rocket ships come with USB-C ports.</p>

<p>You’ll no longer need to switch between tabs. Just stretch your mess across <strong>two screens</strong> instead of one. Now you can ignore <em>twice as many Slack messages</em> while watching <em>twice as much YouTube</em>.</p>

<hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity"/>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Design &amp; Build: A Transformer That Only Becomes Slightly Useful</strong></h3>

<p>The KEFEYA extender folds out like a miniature <strong>laptop accordion</strong>, and yes, that is as awkward to use as it sounds.</p>

<p>It comes with a <strong>14-inch 1080p IPS screen</strong>, which would’ve been impressive in 2012, but in 2025 feels like bringing a butter knife to a laser sword fight. But hey — it’s <em>matte</em>, which is perfect for that gritty, desaturated look you’ve always wanted during Excel battles.</p>

<p>The build quality?<br />Not bad. Not great.<br />It feels like someone wrapped a cheap Android tablet in “productivity vibes” and charged you extra for the privilege.</p>

<p>And let&#8217;s not forget the <strong>adjustable kickstand</strong>, which sounds heroic but is mostly there to stop the whole thing from toppling off your laptop like a drunk waiter carrying a tray of oysters.</p>

<hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity"/>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Features: Cable Management Simulator 2025</strong></h3>

<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/16.0.1/72x72/2705.png" alt="✅" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> <strong>1080p resolution</strong> – Retro chic!</li>

<li><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/16.0.1/72x72/2705.png" alt="✅" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> <strong>180° screen rotation</strong> – Now you too can accidentally show your colleague your meme folder during a meeting.</li>

<li><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/16.0.1/72x72/2705.png" alt="✅" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> <strong>USB-C / HDMI / USB-A connectivity</strong> – Because who doesn’t love a nest of cables?</li>

<li><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/16.0.1/72x72/2705.png" alt="✅" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> <strong>Plug-and-Play</strong> – Unless you’re on a MacBook M1, or M2, or your port is half-functional, or your cable’s crooked, or Mercury is in retrograde.</li>
</ul>

<p>There’s also brightness adjustment, volume control, and other “features” that make it sound more like a budget tablet trying desperately to impress its parents.</p>

<hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity"/>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Use Case: For People Who Confuse Screen Quantity with Productivity</strong></h3>

<p>In theory, this is for:</p>

<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li><strong>Digital nomads</strong> who work from cafés while passive-aggressively hogging the only power outlet.</li>

<li><strong>Gamers</strong> who need an extra screen to track Discord drama while dying in Elden Ring.</li>

<li><strong>Sales guys</strong> who want to show clients charts <em>and</em> fake graphs simultaneously.</li>
</ul>

<p>In reality?<br />You’ll spend more time <strong>trying to get it to work</strong> than actually working. It’s the hardware equivalent of having a second brain that’s constantly asking for firmware updates.</p>

<hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity"/>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Final Verdict: You Wanted a Second Screen, You Got a Second Problem</strong></h3>

<p>The KEFEYA Laptop Screen Extender is the <strong>modern productivity dream incarnate</strong>: sleek, portable, overhyped, and only slightly less annoying than coworkers who &#8220;just have one more quick thing&#8221; at 4:59 PM.</p>

<p>Is it functional?<br />Yes. Technically.</p>

<p>Is it necessary?<br />Only if your idea of multitasking involves <strong>opening 17 tabs and panicking in high definition</strong>.</p>

<p>Would I recommend it?<br />Sure — if you:</p>

<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li>Hate alt-tabbing with the burning fury of a thousand suns.</li>

<li>Enjoy fiddling with USB-C ports like you’re defusing a bomb.</li>

<li>Think “portable workstation” should come with a chiropractor bill.</li>
</ul>

<p>Everyone else?<br />Stick with your single screen and buy a coffee instead. At least the coffee won’t flash <em>“No Signal”</em> and require a second HDMI cable mid-presentation.</p>

<p>But on the other hand, it&#8217;s only 100 bucks, so grab it on <a href="https://amzn.to/4o00jtP" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Amazon here.</a></p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p class="" data-start="174" data-end="499">Let’s be honest. If you&#8217;re the sort of person who owns a Mac, chances are you also believe your desk should look like a curated Instagram post: minimalist, tasteful, and as devoid of cable chaos as a Buddhist shrine. Enter the <strong data-start="401" data-end="432">SAMDi Wooden Keyboard Stand</strong> – a glorified plank of wood dressed up as ergonomic enlightenment.</p>
<p class="" data-start="501" data-end="845">First impressions? It&#8217;s sleek, it’s wooden, and it looks like it was designed by a monk who also happens to run a Kickstarter. It&#8217;s made from actual <em data-start="650" data-end="657">birch</em>, which means it’s one step above IKEA and several steps below anything used to build Viking ships. But sure – it <em data-start="771" data-end="778">feels</em> premium, in that “I-paid-too-much-for-this-accessory” kind of way.</p>
<p class="" data-start="847" data-end="1117">Functionally, it lifts your keyboard a couple of centimeters and gives you just enough space underneath to hide your sins: AirPods, USB drives, biscuit crumbs. It’s the equivalent of sweeping dirt under the rug, only the rug is stylish and made of Scandinavian optimism.</p>
<p class="" data-start="1119" data-end="1310">And ergonomics? Yes, they promise “adjustable height.” Except this is wood, not a Transformer. The only way you&#8217;re adjusting height is by stacking coasters under it or using Jedi mind tricks.</p>
<p class="" data-start="1312" data-end="1533">Let’s also talk about those “7 multi-media keys” mentioned in the spec list like an afterthought. Where are they? On the stand? Are they invisible? Metaphorical? Perhaps it means “you already have a Mac, so just pretend.”</p>
<p class="" data-start="1535" data-end="1804">This thing weighs 280g, which is light enough to be knocked off the desk by a passing sigh but heavy enough to make you feel like it’s &#8220;solid.&#8221; And while they say it “perfectly cradles your Bluetooth keyboard” — let’s be honest — so would any decently cut piece of MDF.</p>
<h3 class="" data-start="1806" data-end="1824">Final verdict:</h3>
<ul data-start="1826" data-end="2082">
<li class="" data-start="1826" data-end="1859">
<p class="" data-start="1828" data-end="1859"><strong data-start="1828" data-end="1845">Looks classy?</strong> Absolutely.</p>
</li>
<li class="" data-start="1860" data-end="1924">
<p class="" data-start="1862" data-end="1924"><strong data-start="1862" data-end="1910">Makes your desk feel like a Pinterest board?</strong> Definitely.</p>
</li>
<li class="" data-start="1925" data-end="1997">
<p class="" data-start="1927" data-end="1997"><strong data-start="1927" data-end="1981">Worth the price of several actual planks of birch?</strong> Questionable.</p>
</li>
<li class="" data-start="1998" data-end="2082">
<p class="" data-start="2000" data-end="2082"><strong data-start="2000" data-end="2014">Essential?</strong> Only if your soul cries when your keyboard touches flat surfaces.</p>
</li>
</ul>
<p class="" data-start="2084" data-end="2363">The <strong data-start="2088" data-end="2112">SAMDi keyboard stand</strong> is for the person who drinks oat milk lattes, listens to Lo-fi chill beats while pretending to code, and considers “desk aesthetics” a spiritual pursuit. If that&#8217;s you — go on, buy it. If not, it’s a block of wood. Just more&#8230; <em data-start="2341" data-end="2362">emotionally curated</em>.</p>

<p class="" data-start="103" data-end="405">Ah yes, the <strong data-start="115" data-end="130">Sony HMZ-T1</strong>. Back in 2011, this thing was Sony’s <em data-start="168" data-end="173">big</em> flex. A head-mounted personal cinema system. A sci-fi dream in shiny black plastic. A device so bold, so ahead of its time, and so utterly impractical, it might as well have been designed by <strong data-start="365" data-end="404">Darth Vader during a midlife crisis</strong>.</p>
<p class="" data-start="407" data-end="558">It looked like the <strong data-start="426" data-end="436">future</strong>. It also looked like you’d had a motorcycle accident and the paramedics had duct-taped a Blu-ray player to your forehead.</p>
<h3 class="" data-start="560" data-end="588">So, what was the HMZ-T1?</h3>
<p class="" data-start="590" data-end="799">It was a <strong data-start="599" data-end="628">dual OLED display headset</strong> that strapped to your face and claimed to deliver the experience of watching a <strong data-start="708" data-end="747">750-inch screen from 20 meters away</strong>. Impressive&#8230; assuming your neck could survive it.</p>
<p class="" data-start="801" data-end="1059">No eye tracking, no passthrough, no motion controls. Just <strong data-start="859" data-end="880">screens and sound</strong> strapped to your skull. And the result? <strong data-start="921" data-end="933">Stunning</strong>. For about ten minutes. Until the weight of the thing made your forehead feel like it was being <strong data-start="1030" data-end="1058">punched by a small robot</strong>.</p>
<h3 class="" data-start="1061" data-end="1077">The visuals?</h3>
<p class="" data-start="1079" data-end="1338">Honestly? Not bad. The dual 720p OLED panels were <strong data-start="1129" data-end="1138">sharp</strong>, <strong data-start="1140" data-end="1150">bright</strong>, and absolutely blew minds — at least until your sinuses caved in under the weight. It was <em data-start="1242" data-end="1338">as if IMAX married a welding mask and gave birth to a PlayStation peripheral nobody asked for.</em></p>
<p class="" data-start="1340" data-end="1510">Sound? Pretty good. Surround-sound simulation in your ears while your actual ears begged to be let out. It was immersive, in the same way drowning in Jell-O is immersive.</p>
<p class="" data-start="1512" data-end="1779">And then there was the <strong data-start="1535" data-end="1554">cable spaghetti</strong>. Yes, unlike today’s sleek, all-in-one headsets like the Meta Quest 2 or Apple Vision Pro, the HMZ-T1 had a <strong data-start="1663" data-end="1689">separate processor box</strong> the size of a VHS tape, plus cables coming out like it was trying to start a power plant.</p>
<h3 class="" data-start="1781" data-end="1803">Compared to today?</h3>
<p class="" data-start="1805" data-end="2011">If the <strong data-start="1812" data-end="1832">Apple Vision Pro</strong> is a luxury spaceship, and the <strong data-start="1864" data-end="1875">Quest 2</strong> is a budget airline with Wi-Fi, then the <strong data-start="1917" data-end="1927">HMZ-T1</strong> was a <strong data-start="1934" data-end="2010">steam-powered monorail built entirely out of ambition and plastic regret</strong>.</p>
<p class="" data-start="2013" data-end="2201">It had <strong data-start="2020" data-end="2042">no motion tracking</strong>, <strong data-start="2044" data-end="2055">no apps</strong>, <strong data-start="2057" data-end="2077">no interactivity</strong>. You didn’t “explore virtual worlds” — you sat completely still, staring at a 3D movie like some sort of expensive hostage.</p>
<p class="" data-start="2203" data-end="2457">And yet… for a brief, glorious moment, <strong data-start="2242" data-end="2265">this was the future</strong>. Before VR headsets had wireless streaming, room mapping, and Apple telling you that you can now live in a PowerPoint slide, Sony was there — slapping tech on your face and calling it cinema.</p>
<h3 class="" data-start="2459" data-end="2477">Final verdict:</h3>
<ul>
<li data-start="2481" data-end="2540"><strong data-start="2481" data-end="2493">Comfort?</strong> Like having a toaster strapped to your head.</li>
<li data-start="2543" data-end="2607"><strong data-start="2543" data-end="2555">Visuals?</strong> Beautiful. Until the bridge of your nose gave up.</li>
<li data-start="2610" data-end="2670"><strong data-start="2610" data-end="2623">Portable?</strong> Only if you were an octopus with a backpack.</li>
<li data-start="2673" data-end="2709"><strong data-start="2673" data-end="2695">Ahead of its time?</strong> Absolutely.</li>
<li data-start="2712" data-end="2767"><strong data-start="2712" data-end="2729">Usable today?</strong> About as relevant as a pager in 2025.</li>
</ul>
<p class="" data-start="2769" data-end="3017"><strong data-start="2769" data-end="2784">Sony HMZ-T1</strong> was not just a headset — it was a <strong data-start="2819" data-end="2851">monument to over-engineering</strong>, a <strong data-start="2855" data-end="2917">glimpse of the future through a blurry, uncomfortable lens</strong>, and a <strong data-start="2925" data-end="3016">perfect example of Sony doing something brilliant in the most inconvenient way possible</strong>.</p>
<p class="" data-start="3019" data-end="3115">And for that, we loved it. Briefly.<br data-start="3054" data-end="3057" />Then we put it back in the box and never touched it again.</p>
<p><a href="https://amzn.to/43jmqSI" target="_blank" rel="noopener" data-wp-editing="1"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-548" src="http://nice2buy.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/09/where2buy.jpg" alt="where2buy" width="256" height="66" /></a></p>

<p class="" data-start="273" data-end="526">There was a time when we used to put laptops <em data-start="318" data-end="327">on laps</em>. Yes, <em data-start="334" data-end="340">laps</em>. The anatomical shelf designed by nature herself. But apparently, that’s no longer good enough. Enter: the <a href="https://amzn.to/3SvLQYl" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><strong data-start="448" data-end="473">Wooden Notebook Stand</strong> </a>— a glorified plank of wood with an identity crisis.</p>
<p class="" data-start="528" data-end="678">This is not a product. This is a lifestyle statement made by someone who drinks kombucha out of a mason jar and thinks pine-scented WiFi is a feature.</p>
<h3 class="" data-start="680" data-end="696">The Promise:</h3>
<p class="" data-start="697" data-end="1008">It “raises” your laptop to “eye level” — you know, so you don’t ruin your neck while doomscrolling LinkedIn job rejections. It “improves airflow” — which is marketing speak for “we cut a hole in it.” And of course, it’s <strong data-start="917" data-end="925">wood</strong>, which means sustainable, biodegradable, and entirely useless during a house fire.</p>
<p class="" data-start="1010" data-end="1168">It comes in bamboo, walnut, cherry, beech — basically every tree that once lived a dignified life in a forest and now serves as a support group for a MacBook.</p>
<h3 class="" data-start="1170" data-end="1186">The Reality:</h3>
<p class="" data-start="1187" data-end="1402">Let’s be honest. This isn’t a product, it’s a <strong data-start="1233" data-end="1245">placemat</strong> for your laptop. It doesn’t cool anything, doesn’t charge anything, and won’t stop your 10-year-old Lenovo from sounding like a hairdryer in a panic attack.</p>
<p class="" data-start="1404" data-end="1587">Yes, it lifts your laptop. But so does a <strong data-start="1445" data-end="1456">shoebox</strong>. Or a <strong data-start="1463" data-end="1470">cat</strong>, if it’s been trained properly. And those don’t cost $49.99 and ship with a manifesto about artisanal craftsmanship.</p>
<p class="" data-start="1589" data-end="1759">Also, let&#8217;s talk about <strong data-start="1612" data-end="1629">adjustability</strong>. Most of these wooden stands have two settings: “Neck saver” and “Spine destroyer.” You don’t adjust them — you <em data-start="1742" data-end="1750">submit</em> to them.</p>
<p class="" data-start="1761" data-end="1967">And of course, because it’s wooden, the manufacturers say it&#8217;s “eco-friendly.” Right. Because mass-manufactured, CNC-cut, factory-lacquered plywood from Guangdong is exactly what Greta Thunberg had in mind.</p>
<hr class="" data-start="1969" data-end="1972" />
<h3 class="" data-start="1974" data-end="1994">Who Is This For?</h3>
<ul>
<li data-start="1998" data-end="2064">People who write emails in coffee shops and want to look profound.</li>
<li data-start="2067" data-end="2128">Graphic designers who wear round glasses but no prescription.</li>
<li data-start="2131" data-end="2220">Tech bloggers who begin every YouTube video with, “So I’ve been using this for two days…”</li>
</ul>
<hr class="" data-start="2222" data-end="2225" />
<h3 class="" data-start="2227" data-end="2246">Final Thoughts:</h3>
<p class="" data-start="2247" data-end="2335">It’s stylish. It’s minimal. It’s about as functional as a wooden spoon in a knife fight.</p>
<p class="" data-start="2337" data-end="2546">But if you’re tired of hunching over your keyboard like a troll guarding a bridge, and you want your laptop to sit six inches higher in aesthetic purity — congratulations, this block of tree corpse is for you.</p>
<p class="" data-start="2337" data-end="2546">Because unlike most people’s opinions, at least this one supports weight.</p>

<p class="" data-start="0" data-end="184"><strong data-start="0" data-end="79">The Game Boy – The Brick That Launched a Billion Hours of Lost Productivity</strong></p>
<p class="" data-start="186" data-end="622">Back in 1989, while most portable technology was still the size of a microwave and twice as useless, <strong data-start="287" data-end="299">Nintendo</strong> did something utterly insane — and brilliant. They released a little grey box called the <strong data-start="389" data-end="401">Game Boy</strong>. And for $89.95 — which, adjusted for inflation, is roughly the cost of a small island today — you could hold <em data-start="512" data-end="517">fun</em> in your actual hands. Not responsibility. Not spreadsheets. Not emails. Just pure, battery-draining fun.</p>
<p class="" data-start="624" data-end="894">And make no mistake: this thing was <strong data-start="660" data-end="681">built like a tank</strong>. You could drop it, step on it, forget it in the freezer, and it would still boot up with that glorious green-tinted screen and that unmistakable <strong data-start="828" data-end="838">&#8220;ding&#8221;</strong> sound that felt like being handed happiness by a robot.</p>
<h3 class="" data-start="896" data-end="912">Technically?</h3>
<p class="" data-start="914" data-end="1199">It was <strong data-start="921" data-end="930">8-bit</strong>, black and green, with a screen resolution that could only be described as <em data-start="1006" data-end="1032">optimistically pixelated</em>. The buttons were rubbery, the sound was somewhere between a microwave and a dying robot, and the whole thing looked like a calculator that had been possessed by joy.</p>
<p class="" data-start="1201" data-end="1551">But here&#8217;s the kicker — <strong data-start="1225" data-end="1238">it worked</strong>. And not only that, it worked <strong data-start="1269" data-end="1283">everywhere</strong>. In the back of your parents’ car. Under the desk at school. In your bed, under the covers, while you were supposed to be asleep. Game cartridges the size of a credit card, and a battery life that made modern devices look like thirsty little power hogs in comparison.</p>
<p class="" data-start="1553" data-end="1761">And let’s not forget <strong data-start="1574" data-end="1584">Tetris</strong> — the game that turned entire generations into square-moving zombies. It didn’t need DLC. It didn’t need 4K. It needed <strong data-start="1704" data-end="1731">two buttons and anxiety</strong>, and somehow, it was perfect.</p>
<h3 class="" data-start="1763" data-end="1792">From today’s perspective?</h3>
<p class="" data-start="1794" data-end="2189">Well, the screen is smaller than your phone&#8217;s <em data-start="1840" data-end="1858">notification bar</em>. There&#8217;s no backlight. The graphics are what you&#8217;d get if a potato tried to sketch. But none of that matters — because <strong data-start="1978" data-end="1994">it had heart</strong>. And it started something enormous. Without Game Boy, you wouldn’t have Pokémon, or mobile gaming, or that awkward guy at the airport playing Candy Crush like it’s a matter of national security.</p>
<h3 class="" data-start="2191" data-end="2209">Final verdict:</h3>
<ul>
<li data-start="2213" data-end="2232"><strong data-start="2213" data-end="2226">Powerful?</strong> No.</li>
<li data-start="2235" data-end="2256"><strong data-start="2235" data-end="2246">Pretty?</strong> God no.</li>
<li data-start="2259" data-end="2287"><strong data-start="2259" data-end="2273">Essential?</strong> Absolutely.</li>
<li data-start="2290" data-end="2514">If you’ve ever felt the thrill of gaming on the move — whether it’s on a Switch, a phone, or a VR headset — then you owe a silent nod to the Game Boy. It was heavy, it was dim, and it was <strong data-start="2501" data-end="2513">glorious</strong>.</li>
</ul>
<p class="" data-start="2516" data-end="2693">Game Boy: proof that you don’t need Retina displays, online servers, or RGB lighting to have fun — sometimes all you need is 8 bits, four AA batteries, and a bit of imagination.</p>

<p class="" data-start="0" data-end="184"><strong data-start="0" data-end="81">The Game Boy Pocket – Nintendo’s First Fitness Program: Carry Less, Game More</strong></p>
<p class="" data-start="186" data-end="416">So, it’s 1996. The world has moved on. We’ve got <em data-start="235" data-end="247">Windows 95</em>, grunge is dying, and your original Game Boy — the magnificent grey <strong data-start="316" data-end="324">lump</strong> of joy — is starting to feel like you&#8217;re hauling around a <strong data-start="383" data-end="400">miniature VCR</strong> in your pocket.</p>
<p class="" data-start="418" data-end="680">Enter the <strong data-start="428" data-end="447">Game Boy Pocket</strong>.<br data-start="448" data-end="451" />A smaller, lighter version of the original Game Boy, now running on just <strong data-start="524" data-end="545">two AAA batteries</strong> instead of four fat AAs — because apparently, even Nintendo realized your back pocket wasn’t designed to carry a plastic paving stone.</p>
<p class="" data-start="682" data-end="941">At launch, it cost <strong data-start="701" data-end="711">$59.95</strong>, which in 1996 was&#8230; well, still a lot of paper route money, but cheaper than therapy. And make no mistake, this wasn’t just a redesign. This was <strong data-start="859" data-end="881">Nintendo admitting</strong>: “Yes, we made it enormous the first time. You’re welcome.”</p>
<h3 class="" data-start="943" data-end="964">So, what changed?</h3>
<ul>
<li data-start="968" data-end="989">It was <strong data-start="975" data-end="986">thinner</strong>.</li>
<li data-start="992" data-end="1013">It was <strong data-start="999" data-end="1010">lighter</strong>.</li>
<li data-start="1016" data-end="1111">It <strong data-start="1019" data-end="1051">fit in a normal human pocket</strong> without making you look like you had a tumor on your hip.</li>
<li data-start="1114" data-end="1231">And it still played all your old cartridges, meaning <em data-start="1167" data-end="1197">Tetris-induced panic attacks</em> were still very much on the menu.</li>
</ul>
<p class="" data-start="1233" data-end="1488">But let’s talk about the screen — now <em data-start="1271" data-end="1280">sharper</em>, <em data-start="1282" data-end="1291">clearer</em>, and no longer looking like it had been sneezed on. No backlight still, of course. Nintendo wasn’t going to give you <em data-start="1409" data-end="1421">everything</em>. That would’ve been madness. But for what it was? An absolute joy.</p>
<p class="" data-start="1490" data-end="1714">Battery life? <strong data-start="1504" data-end="1529">10 hours on two AAAs.</strong> Ten glorious hours of gaming from two batteries you probably stole from your TV remote. That’s still better than most smartphones in 2025 — and those can’t even run <em data-start="1695" data-end="1713">Donkey Kong Land</em>.</p>
<h3 class="" data-start="1716" data-end="1734">Final verdict:</h3>
<ul>
<li data-start="1738" data-end="1809"><strong data-start="1738" data-end="1762">Stronger than coffee</strong> when it comes to keeping you awake at night.</li>
<li data-start="1812" data-end="1865"><strong data-start="1812" data-end="1841">Cheaper than the original</strong>, but way more usable.</li>
<li data-start="1868" data-end="1952"><strong data-start="1868" data-end="1890">Still had no color</strong>, but you didn’t care — your childhood brain filled that in.</li>
<li data-start="1955" data-end="2187">The Game Boy Pocket was what happens when someone at Nintendo says: <em data-start="2049" data-end="2154">&#8220;What if we made the Game Boy not weigh as much as a brick and look like it belongs to a Bond villain?”</em><br data-start="2154" data-end="2157" />And they absolutely nailed it.</li>
</ul>
<p class="" data-start="2189" data-end="2329">It was lean. It was practical. It was everything the original Game Boy wasn’t — but without losing its soul. In short: <strong data-start="2308" data-end="2328">it was brilliant</strong>.</p>

<p class="" data-start="0" data-end="182"><strong data-start="0" data-end="86">Game Boy Light – The Glorious Japan-Only Upgrade You Were Never Cool Enough to Own</strong></p>
<p class="" data-start="184" data-end="359">Now imagine this: it’s 1998, and Nintendo — clearly bored of winning — decides to finally fix the one thing everyone had been complaining about since 1989. That damned screen.</p>
<p class="" data-start="361" data-end="651">Because yes, as amazing as the Game Boy was, trying to play it in the dark was like attempting brain surgery during a blackout using only candlelight and hope. You’d end up angling it under a lamp, next to a window, or dangerously close to a toaster just to see <em data-start="623" data-end="650">where the hell Mario went</em>.</p>
<p class="" data-start="653" data-end="677">So what did Nintendo do?</p>
<p class="" data-start="679" data-end="999">They released the <strong data-start="697" data-end="715">Game Boy Light</strong> — an upgraded, slightly chunkier <strong data-start="749" data-end="768">Game Boy Pocket</strong> with something revolutionary at the time: <strong data-start="811" data-end="831">a backlit screen</strong>. Finally!<br data-start="841" data-end="844" />You could game <strong data-start="859" data-end="874">in the dark</strong>, <strong data-start="876" data-end="896">under the covers</strong>, or in the backseat of a car during a night drive without requiring a headlamp or divine intervention.</p>
<p class="" data-start="1001" data-end="1354">But wait.<br data-start="1010" data-end="1013" />Before you sprint to the store&#8230; <strong data-start="1047" data-end="1080">it was only released in Japan</strong>.<br data-start="1081" data-end="1084" />Yes. Nintendo gave the world’s loyal fans a glowing Game Boy&#8230; and then locked it behind the Pacific Ocean like a shiny golden tease. You could import it, sure — if you were rich, cool, or the kind of person who read tech magazines <em data-start="1317" data-end="1333">cover to cover</em> in your early teens.</p>
<h3 class="" data-start="1356" data-end="1397">Technical stats (for those who care):</h3>
<ul>
<li data-start="1401" data-end="1463"><strong data-start="1401" data-end="1419">2 AA batteries</strong> – because now it’s powerful and efficient</li>
<li data-start="1466" data-end="1574"><strong data-start="1466" data-end="1497">20 hours with the light off</strong>, <strong data-start="1499" data-end="1516">12 with it on</strong> – which is still more than your iPhone lasts on standby</li>
<li data-start="1577" data-end="1693"><strong data-start="1577" data-end="1609">Electroluminescent backlight</strong> – which sounds like something from a spaceship, and honestly, it felt like it too</li>
<li data-start="1696" data-end="1829"><strong data-start="1696" data-end="1707">Colors?</strong> Gold and silver. Because of course — <strong data-start="1745" data-end="1829">if you&#8217;re going to make something exclusive, it might as well look like treasure</strong></li>
</ul>
<h3 class="" data-start="1831" data-end="1849">Final verdict:</h3>
<ul>
<li data-start="1853" data-end="1883"><strong data-start="1853" data-end="1870">Functionally?</strong> Brilliant.</li>
<li data-start="1886" data-end="1939"><strong data-start="1886" data-end="1897">Design?</strong> Sleek, grown-up, and painfully elegant.</li>
<li data-start="1942" data-end="2039"><strong data-start="1942" data-end="1959">Availability?</strong> As if Nintendo whispered, <em data-start="1986" data-end="2037">“Here’s the best version… but you can’t have it.”</em></li>
<li data-start="2042" data-end="2348">This was the <strong data-start="2081" data-end="2111">Game Boy you always wanted</strong>, released in a market you couldn’t reach, with a feature that should have been there since day one. <p class="" data-start="0" data-end="210"><strong data-start="0" data-end="82">Game Boy Color – Now in Colour! Unless You’re British, Then It’s Still “Color”</strong></p>
<p class="" data-start="212" data-end="481">So it’s late 1998. The original Game Boy is approaching a decade of loyal service. The <strong data-start="299" data-end="318">Game Boy Pocket</strong> has trimmed the fat, the <strong data-start="344" data-end="362">Game Boy Light</strong> finally let you play without needing to sit under a chandelier… and then, Nintendo drops this: the <strong data-start="462" data-end="480">Game Boy Color</strong>.</p>
<p class="" data-start="483" data-end="857">Now, let’s be clear — the name is hilariously on-the-nose. They didn’t call it &#8220;Game Boy Ultra&#8221; or &#8220;Game Boy Nova&#8221; or &#8220;Game Boy Visual Hypercore Turbo Extreme&#8221; like any self-respecting tech brand would today.<br data-start="691" data-end="694" />No, they called it exactly what it was: <strong data-start="734" data-end="766">Game Boy&#8230; but now in color</strong>.<br data-start="767" data-end="770" />That’s it. That’s the headline. That’s the pitch.<br data-start="819" data-end="822" />And honestly? That’s all it needed.</p>
<h3 class="" data-start="859" data-end="878">So what was it?</h3>
<p class="" data-start="880" data-end="1166">It was basically a <strong data-start="899" data-end="941">Game Boy with a crayon set taped to it</strong>. Still 8-bit. Still running on the same Zilog Z80 processor. Still powered by two AA batteries. But now your games looked like someone finally <strong data-start="1085" data-end="1131">woke them up from the monochrome nightmare</strong> they’d been trapped in since 1989.</p>
<p class="" data-start="1168" data-end="1540">Yes, it was a bit <strong data-start="1186" data-end="1208">thicker and taller</strong> than the Game Boy Light. Yes, the screen still had <strong data-start="1260" data-end="1276">no backlight</strong> — because apparently, Nintendo was determined to keep us squinting until the 21st century.<br data-start="1367" data-end="1370" />But the sheer fact you could now see <strong data-start="1407" data-end="1426">Mario’s red hat</strong> or <strong data-start="1430" data-end="1462">Pikachu’s banana-yellow face</strong> was revolutionary. It didn’t just make games better — it made them <strong data-start="1530" data-end="1539">alive</strong>.</p>
<h3 class="" data-start="1542" data-end="1602">And let’s not ignore the elephant in the cartridge slot…</h3>
<p class="" data-start="1604" data-end="1861">Yes, it still played your old Game Boy games. But more importantly, it ushered in a <strong data-start="1688" data-end="1706">new generation</strong> of titles — <em data-start="1719" data-end="1742">Pokémon Gold &amp; Silver</em>, <em data-start="1744" data-end="1767">Zelda: Oracle of Ages</em>, <em data-start="1769" data-end="1783">Wario Land 3</em> — all now in glorious, vibrant, washed-out daylight-sensitive <strong data-start="1846" data-end="1860">90s colour</strong>.</p>
<p class="" data-start="1863" data-end="2172">And what did the competition bring?<br data-start="1898" data-end="1901" />SNK had the <strong data-start="1913" data-end="1931">Neo Geo Pocket</strong>. Bandai had the <strong data-start="1948" data-end="1962">WonderSwan</strong>. Both had more power, more features, more <em data-start="2005" data-end="2017">everything</em>.<br data-start="2018" data-end="2021" />Nintendo, meanwhile, had charm, simplicity, and <strong data-start="2069" data-end="2126">a worldwide fanbase of children and exhausted parents</strong> who just wanted to survive another road trip.</p>
<p class="" data-start="2174" data-end="2429">The result?<br data-start="2185" data-end="2188" />The Game Boy Color didn’t just outsell them — it <strong data-start="2237" data-end="2253">crushed them</strong>. It wasn’t a spec sheet victory. It was <strong data-start="2294" data-end="2312">a cultural one</strong>. Over <strong data-start="2319" data-end="2334">118 million</strong> units later, it proved that raw hardware doesn’t stand a chance against pure, nostalgic magic.</p>
<h3 class="" data-start="2431" data-end="2449">Final verdict:</h3>
<ul>
<li data-start="2453" data-end="2480"><strong data-start="2453" data-end="2466">Powerful?</strong> Not really.</li>
<li data-start="2483" data-end="2550"><strong data-start="2483" data-end="2495">Elegant?</strong> Like a Fisher-Price toy designed by actual geniuses.</li>

<p class="" data-start="0" data-end="212"><strong data-start="0" data-end="79">Game Boy Advance – When Nintendo Finally Gave the Game Boy a Gym Membership</strong></p>
<p class="" data-start="214" data-end="481">By 2001, the world had changed. Mobile phones were getting smarter, internet was something you could actually use without yelling at the dial-up tone, and handheld consoles were trying to prove they weren’t just toys for children with long car rides and zero legroom.</p>
<p class="" data-start="483" data-end="647">Enter the <strong data-start="493" data-end="513">Game Boy Advance</strong> — the first time Nintendo looked at their wildly successful Game Boy, squinted, and said:<br data-start="603" data-end="606" /><em data-start="606" data-end="647">&#8220;What if we actually gave it&#8230; power?&#8221;</em></p>
<p class="" data-start="649" data-end="674">And by God, <strong data-start="661" data-end="673">they did</strong>.</p>
<p class="" data-start="676" data-end="955">Gone was the tall, clunky Game Boy silhouette — the GBA arrived like a <strong data-start="747" data-end="771">widescreen spaceship</strong>, looking like someone flattened a Super Nintendo and gave it shoulder buttons. Shoulder buttons! For the first time ever on a handheld, your index fingers got involved. Revolutionary.</p>
<p class="" data-start="957" data-end="1311">It launched at <strong data-start="972" data-end="983">$149.99</strong>, which, let’s be honest, was a lot of money back then — roughly the price of half a PlayStation 2 or three weeks&#8217; worth of lunch money. But what you got for that price was a <strong data-start="1158" data-end="1179">32-bit powerhouse</strong>. Yes — <em data-start="1187" data-end="1199">thirty-two</em>.</p>
<h3 class="" data-start="1313" data-end="1366">But let’s address the elephant in the darkness:</h3>
<p class="" data-start="1367" data-end="1404">The <strong data-start="1371" data-end="1403">screen was still not backlit</strong>.</p>
<p class="" data-start="1406" data-end="1628">Yes, despite being able to run near-console-quality games like <em data-start="1469" data-end="1485">Metroid Fusion</em> and <em data-start="1490" data-end="1504">Advance Wars</em>, you still couldn’t see a damn thing unless you were seated directly under the sun or sandwiched between two halogen lamps.</p>
<p class="" data-start="1630" data-end="1840">They fixed it later with the <strong data-start="1659" data-end="1669">GBA SP</strong>, of course — but for a brief, glorious moment, we had the most advanced handheld gaming machine on the planet&#8230; that required NASA-level lighting to function after 6 PM.</p>
<h3 class="" data-start="1842" data-end="1860">Competitors?</h3>
<p class="" data-start="1861" data-end="1888">They tried. Oh, they tried.</p>
<ul>
<li data-start="1892" data-end="1925"><strong data-start="1892" data-end="1917">Neo Geo Pocket Color?</strong> Dead.</li>
<li data-start="1928" data-end="1970"><strong data-start="1928" data-end="1943">WonderSwan?</strong> Still a ridiculous name.</li>

<li data-start="2471" data-end="2627">The Game Boy Advance was the <strong data-start="2523" data-end="2538">Lotus Elise</strong> of handheld consoles: light, fast, ridiculously fun, and wildly impractical in the dark.</li>
</ul>
<p class="" data-start="2629" data-end="2807">But when it worked — and you could see the screen — it was everything you’d ever wanted in a handheld.<br data-start="2731" data-end="2734" />Not just a Game Boy.<br data-start="2754" data-end="2757" />Not just a toy.<br data-start="2772" data-end="2775" />But a <strong data-start="2781" data-end="2791">proper</strong> gaming machine.</p>
<p class="" data-start="2809" data-end="2914">And it proved once again: when Nintendo focuses, they don’t just make consoles. They make <strong data-start="2899" data-end="2913">childhoods</strong>.</p>

<p class="" data-start="0" data-end="239"><strong data-start="0" data-end="83">Game Boy Advance SP – The Moment Nintendo Remembered That Human Eyes Need Light</strong></p>
<p class="" data-start="241" data-end="428">Ah, the <strong data-start="249" data-end="272">Game Boy Advance SP</strong>. The &#8220;SP&#8221; stands for <em data-start="294" data-end="303">Special</em>, which is marketing speak for:<br data-start="334" data-end="337" /><em data-start="337" data-end="428">&#8220;We finally added the features you’ve been begging for since the Clinton administration.&#8221;</em></p>
<p class="" data-start="430" data-end="748">Released in <strong data-start="442" data-end="450">2003</strong>, the SP was essentially Nintendo looking at the <strong data-start="499" data-end="515">original GBA</strong> — that long, sleek, magnificent wedge of plastic — and saying:<br data-start="578" data-end="581" /><em data-start="581" data-end="748">&#8220;Right. This is brilliant… but let’s make it fold, make it shiny, and more importantly — let’s make the damn screen visible without pointing it directly at the sun.&#8221;</em></p>
<h3 class="" data-start="750" data-end="767">What changed?</h3>
<p class="" data-start="769" data-end="838">Oh, just <strong data-start="778" data-end="837">everything that should’ve been there in the first place</strong>.</p>
<ul>
<li data-start="842" data-end="954">A <strong data-start="844" data-end="864">front-lit screen</strong> (and later, a <strong data-start="879" data-end="898">backlit version</strong>, because apparently even Nintendo learns eventually).</li>
<li data-start="957" data-end="1072">A <strong data-start="959" data-end="979">clamshell design</strong> that made it look like a gadget Q would give James Bond to distract children on a mission.</li>
<li data-start="1075" data-end="1207">A <strong data-start="1077" data-end="1113">rechargeable lithium-ion battery</strong> — no more AA batteries, no more digging through drawers for Duracells that expired in 1997.</li>
<li data-start="1210" data-end="1331">And all this in a form factor that actually <strong data-start="1254" data-end="1276">fit in your pocket</strong> without making it look like you were smuggling bricks.</li>
</ul>
<p class="" data-start="1333" data-end="1616">All this launched at <strong data-start="1354" data-end="1361">$99</strong>, and honestly? It was worth every cent. This wasn’t just a Game Boy. This was the <strong data-start="1444" data-end="1463">luxury Game Boy</strong>. This was the one you didn’t share with your younger cousin. The one that meant business. The one you flexed at school like it was a Rolex with Pokémon.</p>
<h3 class="" data-start="1618" data-end="1633">The screen?</h3>
<p class="" data-start="1635" data-end="1864">Sharp. Lit. Beautiful.<br data-start="1657" data-end="1660" />Finally, you could play <em data-start="1684" data-end="1700">Metroid Fusion</em> or <em data-start="1704" data-end="1735">Final Fantasy Tactics Advance</em> <strong data-start="1736" data-end="1746">in bed</strong>, <strong data-start="1748" data-end="1762">on a plane</strong>, or <strong data-start="1767" data-end="1796">under a blanket at 2 a.m.</strong>, pretending to sleep while your GBA glowed like forbidden treasure.</p>
<h3 class="" data-start="1866" data-end="1896">It even <em data-start="1878" data-end="1886">looked</em> grown-up.</h3>
<p class="" data-start="1898" data-end="2057">Gone was the toy-like plastic shell — the SP had metallic finishes. Silver. Blue. Black. It looked like something <strong data-start="2012" data-end="2056">Apple would make if they cared about fun</strong>.</p>
<h3 class="" data-start="2059" data-end="2083">And the competition?</h3>
<p class="" data-start="2085" data-end="2319">They still didn’t exist in any meaningful way. While the rest of the tech world flailed about trying to make something halfway decent, Nintendo released a console that felt like it was <strong data-start="2270" data-end="2318">designed by people who actually played games</strong>.</p>
<h3 class="" data-start="2321" data-end="2339">Final verdict:</h3>
<ul>
<li data-start="2343" data-end="2372"><strong data-start="2343" data-end="2354">Design?</strong> Folding genius.</li>
<li data-start="2375" data-end="2435"><strong data-start="2375" data-end="2386">Screen?</strong> Finally visible in less-than-solar conditions.</li>
<li data-start="2438" data-end="2473"><strong data-start="2438" data-end="2450">Battery?</strong> Rechargeable heaven.</li>
<li data-start="2476" data-end="2661">The <strong data-start="2503" data-end="2526">Game Boy Advance SP</strong> was the moment handheld gaming grew up. It was sleek, it was powerful, and — most importantly — <strong data-start="2623" data-end="2660">you could actually see the screen</strong>.</li>
</ul>
<p class="" data-start="2663" data-end="2824">It didn’t just fix the GBA’s flaws. It <strong data-start="2702" data-end="2722">obliterated them</strong> and replaced them with polish, confidence, and that oh-so-satisfying <em data-start="2792" data-end="2799">click</em> when you closed it shut.</p>
<p class="" data-start="2826" data-end="2954">If the original Game Boy was a charming brick, the SP was a <strong data-start="2886" data-end="2910">folding blade of joy</strong> — compact, deadly, and absolutely glorious.</p>

<p class="" data-start="0" data-end="177"><strong data-start="0" data-end="62">Game Boy Micro – The Tiny, Shiny Farewell Nobody Asked For</strong></p>
<p class="" data-start="179" data-end="435">By 2005, Nintendo had already changed handheld gaming forever. The <strong data-start="246" data-end="258">Game Boy</strong> had evolved from a grey plastic brick to the sleek, foldable brilliance of the <strong data-start="338" data-end="361">Game Boy Advance SP</strong>. Then, out of nowhere — like a final encore nobody requested — came this:</p>
<p class="" data-start="437" data-end="581">The <strong data-start="441" data-end="459">Game Boy Micro</strong>.<br data-start="460" data-end="463" />A console so small, so sleek, and so utterly pointless, it felt like Nintendo made it just to see if they still could.</p>
<p class="" data-start="583" data-end="868">It was unveiled by <strong data-start="602" data-end="622">Reggie Fils-Aimé</strong> himself, which is hilarious because the Micro is about the size of his <em data-start="694" data-end="701">thumb</em>. Measuring just over 4 inches wide, this thing was barely larger than a credit card. It looked like <strong data-start="802" data-end="867">an iPod Shuffle had a fling with a Game Boy Advance cartridge</strong>.</p>
<h3 class="" data-start="870" data-end="889">So what was it?</h3>
<p class="" data-start="891" data-end="1312">Technically, it was still a <strong data-start="919" data-end="939">Game Boy Advance</strong>. Same 32-bit power. Same games. But now in a casing so tiny that playing <em data-start="1013" data-end="1029">Metroid Fusion</em> felt like trying to pilot a spaceship through a keyhole.<br data-start="1086" data-end="1089" />It had a <strong data-start="1098" data-end="1134">brilliantly sharp backlit screen</strong> — finally, one that wasn’t only visible in direct sunlight or during a solar eclipse. The display was genuinely gorgeous. <strong data-start="1257" data-end="1286">Crisp, bright, colourful.</strong><br data-start="1286" data-end="1289" />But here&#8217;s the problem:</p>
<h3 class="" data-start="1314" data-end="1345">It only played GBA games.</h3>
<p class="" data-start="1346" data-end="1522">No compatibility with <strong data-start="1368" data-end="1380">Game Boy</strong> or <strong data-start="1384" data-end="1402">Game Boy Color</strong> games — which, for a console bearing the Game Boy name, is like making a teapot that doesn’t hold tea. <em data-start="1506" data-end="1522">Utter madness.</em></p>
<h3 class="" data-start="1524" data-end="1537">Controls?</h3>
<p class="" data-start="1539" data-end="1780">They were fine&#8230; if you were a raccoon. The buttons were so small and close together, it felt like trying to play a fighting game on a calculator. This wasn’t a console for gaming — it was a <strong data-start="1731" data-end="1779">collector’s item with delusions of usability</strong>.</p>
<h3 class="" data-start="1782" data-end="1800">Market timing?</h3>
<p class="" data-start="1802" data-end="2110">Disastrous. By late 2005, the <strong data-start="1832" data-end="1847">Nintendo DS</strong> had already entered the chat — and it had two screens, a touch panel, and was busy redefining handheld gaming. The <strong data-start="1963" data-end="1972">Micro</strong>, meanwhile, felt like Nintendo’s polite way of saying:<br data-start="2027" data-end="2030" /><em data-start="2030" data-end="2110">&#8220;Right, that’s the end of the Game Boy line. Here’s a tiny reminder. Goodbye.&#8221;</em></p>
<p class="" data-start="2112" data-end="2279">And goodbye it was.<br data-start="2131" data-end="2134" />No new Game Boy consoles after this. The <strong data-start="2175" data-end="2207">Game Boy line — 1989 to 2005</strong> — ended not with a bang, but with a <strong data-start="2244" data-end="2278">very small, very shiny whimper</strong>.</p>
<h3 class="" data-start="2281" data-end="2299">Final verdict:</h3>
<ul>
<li data-start="2303" data-end="2365"><strong data-start="2303" data-end="2314">Design?</strong> Gorgeous. Portable. A fashion statement in 2005.</li>
<li data-start="2368" data-end="2398"><strong data-start="2368" data-end="2385">Practicality?</strong> Laughable.</li>
<li data-start="2401" data-end="2482"><strong data-start="2401" data-end="2412">Timing?</strong> Awful. Like launching a new VCR the day after Netflix was invented.</li>
<li data-start="2485" data-end="2715">The <strong data-start="2512" data-end="2530">Game Boy Micro</strong> is what happens when engineers win a design fight against actual players.<br data-start="2604" data-end="2607" />It’s beautiful. It’s premium.<br data-start="2636" data-end="2639" />It’s also the most <strong data-start="2658" data-end="2687">spectacularly unnecessary</strong> console Nintendo ever made.</li>
</ul>
<p class="" data-start="2717" data-end="2965">A glorious, ridiculous end to a legendary dynasty.<br data-start="2767" data-end="2770" />It didn’t try to compete. It just walked in, posed for a few photos, and vanished — like a tuxedo-wearing squirrel at the Oscars.<br data-start="2899" data-end="2902" /><strong data-start="2902" data-end="2965" data-is-last-node="">Farewell, Game Boy. <p class="" data-start="184" data-end="507">The <strong data-start="195" data-end="213">WorldPenScan X</strong>. A device that claims to be your pocket-sized savior when facing foreign documents, menus, or — God forbid — a government form in Korean. It&#8217;s a Bluetooth-enabled, language-scanning, translating, digital-highlighting pen. In theory, it&#8217;s the technological lovechild of C-3PO and a highlighter.</p>
<p class="" data-start="509" data-end="525">But in practice?</p>
<p class="" data-start="527" data-end="943">Let’s start with the good bits. It’s <em data-start="564" data-end="575">ambitious</em>. It promises to recognize <strong data-start="602" data-end="626">nearly 200 languages</strong>, plus barcodes, OCR fonts, and all that fancy stuff that makes you feel like Jason Bourne when you scan a passport. It connects via Bluetooth, works across iOS, Android, Windows, Mac, and even <em data-start="820" data-end="833">Chromebooks</em> — which is basically like saying, “I’ll work with literally anything that has a screen and some electricity.”</p>
<p class="" data-start="945" data-end="1166">And when it works, it’s <em data-start="969" data-end="977">useful</em>. You swipe the pen across some perplexing noodle-bar menu, and bam — it tells you that the dish is “cow lung in chili oil.” Which is either helpful or horrifying, depending on your palate.</p>
<p class="" data-start="1168" data-end="1238">But — and this is a big &#8220;but&#8221; — the reality is far less intergalactic.</p>
<h3 class="" data-start="1240" data-end="1270">Here&#8217;s the critical truth:</h3>
<ol data-start="1272" data-end="2185">
<li class="" data-start="1272" data-end="1501">
<p class="" data-start="1275" data-end="1501"><strong data-start="1275" data-end="1290">It’s fiddly</strong>. The pen itself is lightweight and slightly awkward, like writing with a toothbrush. You&#8217;ll find yourself hovering over text like you&#8217;re diffusing a bomb, only to realize the app didn’t catch half the sentence.</p>
</li>
<li class="" data-start="1503" data-end="1751">
<p class="" data-start="1506" data-end="1751"><strong data-start="1506" data-end="1522">The software</strong> is&#8230; let’s say <em data-start="1539" data-end="1565">ambitious but overworked</em>. It translates with the same accuracy as a drunken exchange student. You wanted to know the side effects of a medicine leaflet? Now you&#8217;re being told it causes “divine tree awakenings.”</p>
</li>
<li class="" data-start="1753" data-end="1965">
<p class="" data-start="1756" data-end="1965"><strong data-start="1756" data-end="1772">Connectivity</strong> is hit or miss. “Instantly ready when powered on” they say. Sure — <em data-start="1840" data-end="1844">if</em> it decides to recognize your device and <em data-start="1885" data-end="1889">if</em> the app doesn&#8217;t crash halfway through scanning your Turkish airline ticket.</p>
</li>
<li class="" data-start="1967" data-end="2185">
<p class="" data-start="1970" data-end="2185"><strong data-start="1970" data-end="2002">Compatibility issues abound.</strong> Yes, it <em data-start="2011" data-end="2017">says</em> it works with everything. But in 2025, anything that still boasts “Windows 7 minimum requirements” is clearly stuck in a time when Bluetooth was considered witchcraft.</p>
</li>
</ol>
<p class="" data-start="2187" data-end="2388">And don’t get me started on the <strong data-start="2219" data-end="2249">price-to-performance ratio</strong>, especially considering it’s <em data-start="2279" data-end="2302">currently unavailable</em> — probably because it’s sitting in a warehouse wondering why nobody wants it anymore.</p>
<h3 class="" data-start="2390" data-end="2408">In conclusion:</h3>
<p class="" data-start="2410" data-end="2690">If you&#8217;re a notary, a spy, or a culinary adventurer with patience and low expectations, the <strong data-start="2502" data-end="2520">WorldPenScan X</strong> might be a quirky sidekick. But for the rest of us? You’re better off using your phone’s camera with Google Translate — faster, free, and significantly less frustrating.</p>
<p class="" data-start="2692" data-end="2820">A translator that barely translates, a scanner that squints, and an app that acts like it’s allergic to logic. Still, nice idea.</p>

<p class="" data-start="206" data-end="516">Let’s talk about <strong data-start="223" data-end="255">Foldable Bluetooth Keyboards</strong> — the thing you didn’t know existed, still don’t need, but somehow feel slightly cooler just for owning. They&#8217;re small, they fold, they connect via Bluetooth, and they exist for one reason: <strong data-start="446" data-end="515">to make you feel like you&#8217;re working while definitely not working</strong>.</p>
<p class="" data-start="518" data-end="688">Now, don’t get me wrong. I love a good gadget. But this? This is the lovechild of a <strong data-start="602" data-end="640">laptop that’s too scared to commit</strong> and a <strong data-start="647" data-end="687">Transformer with performance anxiety</strong>.</p>
<p class="" data-start="690" data-end="1116">The idea is simple: you’re on the go, you don’t want to lug around a laptop, but you also don’t want to type your 10-page manifesto on a phone screen that’s smaller than a beer coaster. So you unfold this mechanical origami, pair it with your phone or tablet, and <em data-start="954" data-end="960">boom</em> — suddenly you&#8217;re writing emails in a coffee shop, feeling like James Bond… if James Bond worked in middle management and blogged about productivity hacks.</p>
<h3 class="" data-start="1118" data-end="1145">But let’s be real here:</h3>
<ul>
<li data-start="1149" data-end="1235">The keys are <strong data-start="1162" data-end="1174">so small</strong>, your thumbs need a gym membership to stretch across them.</li>
<li data-start="1238" data-end="1340">The fold in the middle? Oh yes — just where your spacebar lives, because ergonomics are for cowards.</li>
<li data-start="1343" data-end="1497">The Bluetooth connection? Works about 70% of the time. The other 30%, you’re left waving it around like a magic wand, hoping the pairing fairy shows up.</li>
<li data-start="1500" data-end="1609">And the build quality? Somewhere between <em data-start="1541" data-end="1562">“survives one drop”</em> and <em data-start="1567" data-end="1609">“snaps in half if you look at it wrong.”</em></li>
</ul>
<p class="" data-start="1611" data-end="1843">They&#8217;re meant to be <strong data-start="1631" data-end="1643">portable</strong>, <strong data-start="1645" data-end="1659">convenient</strong>, and <strong data-start="1665" data-end="1678">practical</strong>. And to some extent, they are. If you’re a digital nomad, tech hipster, or someone who thinks typing on a full-sized keyboard is <em data-start="1808" data-end="1824">too mainstream</em>, this is your toy.</p>
<p class="" data-start="1845" data-end="2026">But for the rest of us? It’s just another accessory you’ll forget to charge, lose in a bag, or find six months later between a melted granola bar and last year’s conference lanyard.</p>
<h3 class="" data-start="2028" data-end="2046">Final verdict:</h3>
<ul>
<li data-start="2050" data-end="2068"><strong data-start="2050" data-end="2061">Clever?</strong> Yes.</li>
<li data-start="2071" data-end="2096"><strong data-start="2071" data-end="2088">Cool-looking?</strong> Sure.</li>
<li data-start="2099" data-end="2168"><strong data-start="2099" data-end="2113">Necessary?</strong> About as necessary as an espresso machine in a tent.</li>
<li data-start="2171" data-end="2382"><strong data-start="2171" data-end="2191">take?</strong><br data-start="2191" data-end="2194" />If your job requires a foldable keyboard, you’re probably spending more time folding your tech than actually using it. Get a laptop. Or grow thumbs like a gorilla. Either will work better.</li>
</ul>
<p class="" data-start="2384" data-end="2518">Foldable Bluetooth keyboards — for when you want to type on the go, but also want to feel like you&#8217;re setting up camp with IKEA parts.</p>

<p style="text-align: center;"><iframe loading="lazy" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/1q06ssnHq5Y" width="560" height="315" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="allowfullscreen"></iframe></p>
<p data-start="423" data-end="578">Ah yes, the <strong data-start="435" data-end="456"><a href="https://amzn.to/44MhSqf" target="_blank" rel="noopener">USB LED Fan Cloc</a>k</strong> — a product that, in hindsight, feels like it was designed by someone trapped in a 2003 PC World catalog with no way out.</p>
<p data-start="580" data-end="1150">Back when this glorified USB desk trinket first spun its shiny little blades, it was hailed as the <em data-start="679" data-end="700">perfect combination</em> of form and function. A fan… that tells the time… via blinking LEDs… while plugging into your laptop. Which, for a brief, delusional moment in 2013, seemed like the future of desktop accessories. Fast forward to 2025, and we’ve seen flying drones deliver sushi, AI write novels, and toilets analyze your gut bacteria — but the <a href="https://amzn.to/44MhSqf" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><strong data-start="1028" data-end="1049">USB LED Fan Clock</strong>?</a> It’s still out here fighting for relevance like a washed-up boy band member doing TikTok tutorials.</p>
<h3 data-start="1152" data-end="1194">What is the USB LED Fan Clock, really?</h3>
<p data-start="1196" data-end="1420">In technical terms, it’s a <strong data-start="1223" data-end="1314">USB-powered fan with a flexible gooseneck and spinning LED blades that display the time</strong>. In reality, it’s a shining example of what happens when nobody in the product meeting dares to say “no.”</p>
<p data-start="1422" data-end="1858">Plug it in, bend it into position like you’re auditioning it for a yoga competition, and enjoy a light breeze — by “light breeze,” I mean the equivalent of a cat sneezing gently in your direction. But hey, it tells the time! Unless it forgets, which it does frequently. Reviews from back in the day are filled with tales of poor souls resetting the clock every time it was unplugged like it’s 1998 and they just lost power to their VCR.</p>
<h3 data-start="1860" data-end="1895">Why does this thing even exist?</h3>
<p data-start="1897" data-end="2095">Let’s break it down. You’re sweating through your 7th Zoom call of the day. Your laptop is hot enough to fry an egg, your AirPods are dying, and you’re one “reply all” away from a breakdown. Do you:</p>
<ol>
<li data-start="2100" data-end="2114">Open a window?</li>
<li data-start="2118" data-end="2132">Turn on a fan?</li>
<li data-start="2136" data-end="2190">Glance at the time on the bottom-right of your screen? Or&#8230;</li>
<li data-start="2202" data-end="2396">Plug in a <a href="https://amzn.to/44MhSqf" target="_blank" rel="noopener">USB fan</a> that lights up like a miniature rave and awkwardly dangles from your laptop port, while you stare at spinning numbers hovering in front of your face like a cheap hallucination?</li>
</ol>
<p data-start="2398" data-end="2645">Yes, this is the world the <a href="https://amzn.to/44MhSqf" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><strong data-start="2425" data-end="2446">USB LED Fan Clock</strong></a> envisioned. A world where your desk becomes a tech-themed carnival, and basic needs like airflow and time are met by a novelty product that dies faster than a Tamagotchi left alone over the weekend.</p>
<h3 data-start="2647" data-end="2672">Let&#8217;s talk durability</h3>
<p data-start="2674" data-end="2769">Users have consistently praised its reliability — for all of <em data-start="2735" data-end="2745">24 hours</em>. After which it either:</p>
<ul>
<li data-start="2772" data-end="2787">Stops spinning,</li>
<li data-start="2790" data-end="2843">Flashes a seizure-inducing jumble of LED nonsense, or</li>
<li data-start="2846" data-end="2886">Bends limply like a tulip after a frost.</li>
</ul>
<p data-start="2888" data-end="3097">But let’s not be too harsh. It <em data-start="2919" data-end="2925">does</em> work. Kind of. It spins. It lights up. And sometimes, in just the right USB port, with just the right amount of hope, it might even tell you the correct time. Temporarily.</p>
<h3 data-start="3099" data-end="3117">The good news?</h3>
<p data-start="3119" data-end="3439">It makes a wonderful conversation starter. “Is that a fan… or a clock?” coworkers might ask, right before they question your life decisions. It’s also a <em data-start="3272" data-end="3284">phenomenal</em> gift idea for someone you slightly dislike — like that cousin who still brags about his NFT portfolio or your coworker who &#8220;just discovered cold plunges.&#8221;</p>
<h3 data-start="3441" data-end="3473">SEO recap for the real ones:</h3>
<p data-start="3475" data-end="3541">If you&#8217;re Googling “<a href="https://amzn.to/44MhSqf" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><strong data-start="3495" data-end="3516">USB LED Fan Clock</strong></a>” in 2025, you&#8217;re either:</p>
<ul>
<li data-start="3544" data-end="3574">Hunting for ironic desk décor,</li>
<li data-start="3577" data-end="3615">Writing a blog post exactly like this,</li>
<li data-start="3618" data-end="3729">Or genuinely believing this will solve your timekeeping and cooling needs in one USB port. (Spoiler: it won’t.)</li>
</ul>
<p data-start="3731" data-end="4050">But fear not — <strong data-start="3746" data-end="3761">USB gadgets</strong> are having their nostalgic moment. From lava-lamp humidifiers to cat-ear headphone stands with RGB lighting, we’re in peak desktop chaos. And the <strong data-start="3908" data-end="3929">USB LED Fan Clock</strong>? It’s the elder statesman of this madness. The analog-digital hybrid nobody wanted, spinning valiantly into irrelevance.</p>
<h3 data-start="4052" data-end="4069">Final verdict</h3>
<p data-start="4071" data-end="4202">Is it useful? No.<br data-start="4088" data-end="4091" />Is it practical? Absolutely not.<br data-start="4123" data-end="4126" />Should you buy it? Only if you enjoy living on the edge of irony and regret.</p>
<p data-start="4204" data-end="4391">But if you really want to experience the thrill of <em data-start="4255" data-end="4263">almost</em> telling time while <em data-start="4283" data-end="4291">almost</em> staying cool, go dig one up on eBay or click “Currently Unavailable” on <a href="https://amzn.to/44MhSqf" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Amazon</a> and wait. <p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://nice2buy.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/922786_10151468135769221_543093464_n1.png"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="size-full wp-image-481" src="http://nice2buy.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/922786_10151468135769221_543093464_n1.png" alt="922786_10151468135769221_543093464_n[1]" width="485" height="551" srcset="https://nice2buy.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/922786_10151468135769221_543093464_n1.png 485w, https://nice2buy.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/922786_10151468135769221_543093464_n1-264x300.png 264w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 485px) 100vw, 485px" /></a></p>
<p data-pm-slice="1 1 []"><strong><a href="https://amzn.to/4keQMNi" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Vertical Mouse</a> Pitch</strong></p>
<p>Imagine holding a mouse like you&#8217;re about to politely shake hands with your laptop. That, dear reader, is the pitch behind vertical ergonomic mice. No, it wasn&#8217;t designed by aliens. But it does look like something a Klingon would use to browse the web. The<a href="https://amzn.to/4keQMNi" target="_blank" rel="noopener"> vertical mouse</a> is allegedly the knight in shining plastic armor for your tortured wrist. Supposedly, it aligns your arm, prevents carpal tunnel, and elevates you to ergonomic enlightenment.</p>
<p>In 2014, these things were futuristic oddities. In 2025, they&#8217;re all over <a href="https://amzn.to/4keQMNi" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Amazon</a> like self-help books in January. Everyone seems to be buying them, swearing their wrist pain is gone, their posture improved, and their productivity skyrocketed. But is it really a miracle device or just another ergonomic placebo wrapped in sleek ABS plastic?</p>
<div>
<hr /></div>
<p><strong>Design &amp; Build</strong></p>
<p>Most vertical mice follow the same template: they look like your regular mouse had a nervous breakdown and stood up. Brands like Logitech, Anker, and ProtoArc have turned this format into a design war. From the matte-black curvatures of the Logitech Lift to the slightly budget-friendly tank-like build of the Anker, each model claims to have perfected the shape of the human hand mid-handshake.</p>
<p>They’re loaded with buttons (usually six), offer adjustable DPI levels that most users never touch, and often come with LED lights to make you feel like you&#8217;re doing something important. The build quality ranges from premium and sculpted (Logitech MX Vertical) to &#8220;I could probably crush this by accident during a Zoom call&#8221; (some off-brand models).</p>
<p>Rechargeable batteries are now the norm, and connectivity options include Bluetooth, 2.4GHz dongles, USB-C, time travel, and possibly telepathy. We’re not ruling it out.</p>
<div>
<hr /></div>
<p><strong>Use Case &amp; Ergonomics</strong></p>
<p>Here’s the kicker: the <a href="https://amzn.to/4keQMNi" target="_blank" rel="noopener">vertical mouse is fantasti</a>c&#8230; if you&#8217;re already in pain. If you&#8217;re a desk jockey whose wrist sounds like popcorn when you rotate it, then yes, this thing might be your salvation. It forces you to twist less, hover more gently, and stop strangling your mouse in a death grip.</p>
<p>But if you’re a normal human with an average desk setup and no wrist pain? It’s an adjustment nightmare. The angle feels weird. The clicks feel wrong. You’ll spend two weeks wondering why you voluntarily made your job harder. It’s like switching from a regular steering wheel to one shaped like a hexagon.</p>
<p>Also, the ergonomic benefit seems to depend on one thing: whether you remember to actually hold it properly. Spoiler alert: most people revert to caveman mode within a week.</p>
<div>
<hr /></div>
<p><strong>The Cult of Ergonomics</strong></p>
<p>We now live in an age where posture is spiritual and wrist alignment is moral. The <a href="https://amzn.to/4keQMNi" target="_blank" rel="noopener">vertical mouse</a> has become a symbol of modern office virtue, like standing desks and overpriced blue light glasses. &#8220;Oh, you still use a regular mouse?&#8221; they ask, sipping their kale smoothie. &#8220;How brave.&#8221;</p>
<p>It’s the new kombucha of office hardware – weird at first, somehow refreshing, probably overrated, but hard to give up once you&#8217;re in. Especially when you&#8217;re convinced it’s helping you live to 120.</p>
<div>
<hr /></div>
<p><strong>Final Verdict</strong></p>
<p>Vertical mice are like bidets: once you adjust to them, you start evangelizing. They’re not for everyone, but for those who need them, they’re a godsend. If your wrist hurts, buy one. If your wrist doesn’t hurt, try one and prepare for a week of awkward clicking.</p>
<p>Is it a perfect solution? No. Is it a gimmick? Not entirely. Is it better than pretending wrist pain will just go away on its own? Absolutely.</p>
<p>For some, it’s the start of a more comfortable digital life. For others, it’s just another overpriced plastic potato with delusions of grandeur.</p>

<p style="text-align: center;"><iframe loading="lazy" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/MoPi0U2c248" width="560" height="315" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="allowfullscreen"></iframe></p>
<p data-pm-slice="1 1 []"> </p>
<p>Remember a time when plugging a 30-pin dock into your iPad felt like cutting-edge technology? When apps weren&#8217;t bloated subscription-based monstrosities but simple pleasures with pixelated ambition? No? Well, meet the Classic Match <a href="https://amzn.to/3H7ujmR" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Foosball for iPad</a>—a product so firmly rooted in 2013 that using it today in 2025 is like trying to stream Netflix on a VHS tape.</p>
<p>This iPad foosball dock was made by New Potato Technologies, a company with a name as strange as the product itself. The idea was bold, possibly even noble: transform your expensive glass slab into a miniature football arena by docking it into a plastic stadium outfitted with eight mechanical rods, real score sliders, and just enough ambition to make Steve Jobs roll in his grave.</p>
<div><hr /></div>
<p><strong>The Design: Plastic Nostalgia Meets iOS Obsolescence</strong></p>
<p>Let’s start with the good. It looks like fun. The rods are real metal, not cheap bendy wire. The scorekeepers are delightfully retro. The experience of pulling a rod, watching the little pixelated man on your screen kick the ball with laggy precision—utterly fantastic, if your definition of fantastic includes &#8220;just barely works.&#8221;</p>
<p>Now the bad: It only supports iPad 1, 2, and 3. Yes, the models from the time of the dinosaurs, when Instagram filters were new and TikTok was still a musical.ly fever dream. So unless you’re hoarding a perfectly functioning iPad 2 just for this, it’s about as useful as a floppy disk reader in 2025.</p>
<div><hr /></div>
<p><strong>Gameplay: <a href="https://amzn.to/3H7ujmR" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Foosball</a>, But Make It Digital-ish</strong></p>
<p>Once you get it working (and that&#8217;s a big &#8220;if&#8221;), the gameplay is surprisingly decent. The app does a solid job mimicking the foosball experience. You even get satisfying goal sounds, instant replays, and customized team colors—because obviously, Manchester United red matters on a pixelated screen the size of a cereal box.</p>
<p>But there is lag. Oh yes, there is lag. Especially on older iPads, which this thing requires. There&#8217;s also a notable disconnect between your mechanical arm movement and what happens on screen. You&#8217;re not really playing foosball—you&#8217;re just auditioning for a role as &#8220;Frustrated Uncle&#8221; at a tech-themed birthday party.</p>
<div><hr /></div>
<p><strong>Who Is This For?</strong></p>
<p>That is the million-dollar question. Or rather, the $30 eBay listing question. Who, in 2025, is dusting off an iPad 2 and saying, &#8220;You know what I need? A plastic contraption that turns my obsolete tablet into a semi-functional bar game.&#8221;</p>
<p>Answer: collectors, retro tech fans, and people who mistake nostalgia for innovation.</p>
<p>This is not a serious gaming accessory. It is, however, a fun conversation starter. Like, &#8220;Oh wow, is that an iPad <a href="https://amzn.to/3H7ujmR" target="_blank" rel="noopener">foosball</a> table?&#8221; followed by, &#8220;Why do you still have that?&#8221; followed by, &#8220;I think it&#8217;s broken.&#8221;</p>
<div><hr /></div>
<p><strong>The Verdict: A Glorious Waste of Time (and That’s Okay)</strong></p>
<p>Would I recommend it? No. Would I laugh if someone else owned it? Absolutely.</p>
<p>It’s not about practicality. It’s about celebrating a moment in tech history when people truly believed that physical-digital hybrids would be the next big thing. They weren’t. But boy, did they try.</p>
<p>So if you find one for cheap, and if you happen to own a fossilized iPad 2 that still charges, go ahead. Plug it in. Laugh at the absurdity. Then put it back on the shelf where it belongs—next to the LaserDisc player and your Zune.</p>
<p><strong>Final Score: 2.5 out of 5 nostalgic chuckles.</strong></p>

<p><iframe loading="lazy" src="http://player.vimeo.com/video/36411313" width="400" height="300" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="allowfullscreen"></iframe></p>
<p data-start="519" data-end="788">Once upon a time – in 2012, to be precise – some Apple-loving engineer at Twelve South decided we should all clip our iPads onto bendy arms and suspend them in mid-air like Mission Control was about to launch them into orbit. Thus, the <strong data-start="755" data-end="778">HoverBar for iPad 2</strong> was born.</p>
<p data-start="790" data-end="1025">And yes, in <strong data-start="802" data-end="810">2013</strong>, I was one of those fools who thought this thing made me look like Tony Stark. Fast-forward to 2025, and now? I look more like a pension-age cyborg who&#8217;s refused to update their tech since the Obama administration.</p>
<p data-start="1027" data-end="1161">So, does this vintage iPad accessory still have a place in our modern, USB-C-everything world? Buckle up. This is going to get snarky.</p>
<hr data-start="1163" data-end="1166" />
<h3 data-start="1168" data-end="1227">The Pitch (Back Then): &#8220;Take Your iPad to New Heights!&#8221;</h3>
<p data-start="1229" data-end="1502">Yes, truly. Twelve South wanted us to believe we were elevating our iPad experience – literally – with a <strong data-start="1334" data-end="1359">heavy-gauge steel arm</strong>, a <strong data-start="1363" data-end="1384">ball-jointed clip</strong>, and dreams of a dual-screen productivity utopia. FaceTime on the left. Google Docs on the right. Apple fanboys wept.</p>
<p data-start="1504" data-end="1652">In theory, the HoverBar was a genius idea. In reality? It was like strapping a bowling ball to a coat hanger and hoping for ergonomic enlightenment.</p>
<hr data-start="1654" data-end="1657" />
<h3 data-start="1659" data-end="1700">Design &amp; Build: It’s Solid… Too Solid</h3>
<p data-start="1702" data-end="1920">To give credit where it’s due, the thing is well-built. Heavy-duty clamp? Check. Goose-neck arm that could bend a spoon? Check. Metal bits that make you feel like you&#8217;re assembling an IKEA chair for robots? Absolutely.</p>
<p data-start="1922" data-end="2166">But here’s the catch: <strong data-start="1944" data-end="2002">it’s strong, but it’s also a stiff, creaky drama queen</strong>. Trying to position it just right without launching your iPad across the room is like adjusting a rusty streetlamp with arthritic elbows. And that’s on a good day.</p>
<p data-start="2168" data-end="2318">The clamp does hold—oh it holds. It holds like your grandma clutches her handbag on the subway. Which is great, unless you want to… you know… move it.</p>
<hr data-start="2320" data-end="2323" />
<h3 data-start="2325" data-end="2366">Use Case in 2025: Irony and Nostalgia</h3>
<p data-start="2368" data-end="2452">Let’s face it. Nobody is <strong data-start="2393" data-end="2405">actually</strong> using an iPad 2 in 2025 unless they’re either:</p>
<ol>
<li data-start="2457" data-end="2494"><strong data-start="2457" data-end="2488">Trapped in a nuclear bunker</strong>, or</li>
<li data-start="2498" data-end="2600"><strong data-start="2498" data-end="2524">Running a hipster café</strong> where vinyl records, mechanical keyboards, and pre-2015 tech reign supreme.</li>
</ol>
<p data-start="2602" data-end="2757">So unless you&#8217;re pairing this with a museum exhibit called <em data-start="2661" data-end="2686">The Golden Age of Apple</em>, its functionality is about as relevant as a Blackberry with a stylus.</p>
<p data-start="2759" data-end="2913">Even the <strong data-start="2768" data-end="2784">latest iPads</strong> laugh at it. It’s like trying to use a floppy disk with an M3 MacBook. Sure, you <em data-start="2866" data-end="2871">can</em> do it if you believe hard enough—but why?</p>
<hr data-start="2915" data-end="2918" />
<h3 data-start="2920" data-end="2970">Pros (If You’re Still Into That Sort of Thing)</h3>
<ul>
<li data-start="2974" data-end="3076"><strong data-start="2974" data-end="2990">It’s sturdy.</strong> You could defend yourself with this thing if someone breaks in during your Zoom call.</li>
<li data-start="3079" data-end="3161"><strong data-start="3079" data-end="3093">It floats!</strong> Not in water, mind you—but in mid-air like a tech séance from 2012.</li>
<li data-start="3164" data-end="3277"><strong data-start="3164" data-end="3199">Surprisingly useful in kitchens</strong>, assuming you still look up recipes on an iPad 2 instead of barking at Alexa.</li>
<li data-start="3280" data-end="3372"><strong data-start="3280" data-end="3300">Retro aesthetic.</strong> Like lava lamps or cassette players, this is officially <em data-start="3357" data-end="3371">quirky décor</em>.</li>
</ul>
<hr data-start="3374" data-end="3377" />
<h3 data-start="3379" data-end="3412">Cons (A.K.A. Everything Else)</h3>
<ul>
<li data-start="3416" data-end="3539"><strong data-start="3416" data-end="3440">Only fits an iPad 2.</strong> Good luck cramming your modern iPad Pro into this thing without committing accessory manslaughter.</li>
<li data-start="3542" data-end="3638"><strong data-start="3542" data-end="3567">Floppy neck syndrome.</strong> Eventually, gravity wins and your iPad droops like a disappointed dad.</li>
<li data-start="3641" data-end="3729"><strong data-start="3641" data-end="3662">Zero portability.</strong> It&#8217;s heavy, bulky, and basically welded to your desk once clamped.</li>
<li data-start="3732" data-end="3821"><strong data-start="3732" data-end="3758">No case compatibility.</strong> You’ll need to strip your iPad naked just to use it. Charming.</li>
</ul>
<hr data-start="3823" data-end="3826" />
<h3 data-start="3828" data-end="3890">Final Verdict: HoverBar for iPad – Buy It If You Miss 2012</h3>
<p data-start="3892" data-end="4078">Look, if you&#8217;re the kind of person who keeps a <strong data-start="3939" data-end="3957">first-gen iPod</strong> in your car &#8220;for emergencies&#8221; and still believes in the magic of <strong data-start="4023" data-end="4046">skeuomorphic design</strong>, this might be your Holy Grail.</p>
<p data-start="4080" data-end="4268">But for the rest of us living in 2025? The HoverBar is a fossil from a simpler time. A time when Apple still sold things with <em data-start="4206" data-end="4225">30-pin connectors</em>, and we thought FaceTime was cutting-edge.</p>
<p data-start="4270" data-end="4598">If you want to get one, it’s mostly for laughs, nostalgia, or staging your retro-tech-themed podcast studio. Still, it&#8217;s available through Amazon resellers (yes, <em data-start="4432" data-end="4441">somehow</em>), so if you&#8217;re curious—or mildly self-loathing—you can pick it up <a class="" href="https://amzn.to/3SvYuXa" target="_blank" rel="noopener" data-start="4508" data-end="4597">via our affiliate link here</a>.</p>
<hr data-start="4600" data-end="4603" />
<p data-start="4605" data-end="4816"><strong data-start="4605" data-end="4614">TL;DR</strong>: The HoverBar was designed for a time when tablets were trying to be laptops. In 2025, it’s more performance art than productivity tool. Great as a conversation starter. Awful as a practical accessory.</p>
