The LG PD241T Pocket Printer: Because Why Would You Want to Print Photos Like It’s 2025 When You Can Do It Like It’s 2003?

Right. So here we are again — another tiny plastic box from the future that claims to solve a problem you didn’t know you had. Meet the LG PD241T. It’s a photo printer. A pocket-sized photo printer. Yes, because your phone, with its 72-megapixel camera and three AI-enhanced filters, simply wasn’t enough. Now you can carry a second device that prints your filtered nonsense onto tiny sheets of sticker paper.

Brilliant.

This is the follow-up to the PD239, PD233, PD221 — which sounds less like a product line and more like the seating plan on a Ryanair flight. But unlike its predecessors, this one is baby pink and jewelry white, which I assume means it’s targeted squarely at people who think glitter is a personality trait.

To be fair, it is smaller, lighter, and more portable — which is great, because you’ll want to hide it when people ask what on Earth you’re doing. And it uses Zink technology, which means no ink, no toner, no drama. Just heat and paper. Magic.

It connects via Bluetooth, charges through a micro-USB port (which in tech years is roughly as modern as a fax machine), and it’s compatible with iOS, Android, and even Windows Phone. Yes, Windows Phone — which is a bit like saying your new Netflix series also works on VHS.

There’s an app — of course there is — called LG Pocket Photo. And it lets you edit and print your photos right from your phone. You can crop, filter, doodle, ruin your memories in countless creative ways — and then print them out in glorious 2×3 inch mediocrity.

It’s not NFC-enabled, because why would it be? That would be far too convenient. But it is wireless, portable, and will allegedly spit out a photo in a speed that rivals a tortoise with a limp.

All this for a price that was “affordable” in 2015, but now seems like an elaborate joke considering we’re all drowning in cloud storage and Instagram reels.

Still. It’s pink. It’s cute. And if you absolutely must ruin a perfectly good digital photo by smearing it across thermal paper, the LG PD241T will do the job just fine — with all the flair of a glitter cannon in a library.
